Much has happened since my last update. I have moved to a new school and back to eh US. Both my wife and i are now graduate students, she in curriculum, instruction and teacher education, and me in philosophy. I have been exploring several ideas having to do with the epistemology of disagreement and this has led me to consider the role that evidence plays in our epistemic reasoning. The conclusions, it seems to me, lends some support to an account of rationality that places pragmatic interests in a central role, both rationally and psychologically for human rational agents. I have also reached a point where Moore’s anti-skeptical argument is no longer all that puzzling but instead seems to indicate an important truth about the way we reason.
